Whose words are these…?!!!

Ashmit is getting smart with his excuse for doing or not doing his work. He has somehow (don’t know how) learned to use someone else for his excuse. Here are a few excuses …

Me: Ashmit change your clothes and have lunch then watch TV.

Ash: My doctor has said to watch TV first.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Me: Ashmit wake up fast or you will miss the school bus

Ash: …Then papa can drop me to school

Me: … then he will be late for office.

Ashmit: My ma’am said papa can be late to the office and I can miss the bus.

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

Granny: Ashmit try not to colour outside the line

Ash: Mamma said I ‘should’ colour outside

Me:???? (When did I say that?)

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Last Saturday morning around 8am I saw both kids playing…

Me: Aru you have not done your breakfast…you have home work to finish and learn for test…and you woke up and started to play…

Aru (puzzled): But Ashmit said mamma has said we can play after brushing our teeth and have breakfast later!!!!
